 2023 is declared as international year of millets by UN . Millets are the same seeds grasses which are good for environment with low water and inputs requirements. hence it is cost effective to farmers. More thn 90 percent of millets production is in Asian countries. India is a country known as country of farmers. Most of the states in India cultivates different varieties of millets. This year is celebrated as Millets year so that people should get aware for production and consumptions of millets. Millets include Ragi, bajra, porso, kodo, jowar, foxtail, browntop, barnyard , little millets. It is also termed as superfood as it act as a preventive measures in following diseases 1. Omega 3 fatty acid is used in anxiety.  It also helps in liver function such as it improves beta oxidation which help to reduce chances of fatty liver. It also helps to resolve clots in blood as omega 3 fatty acid have anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to fight against cancer cells as it has anti-inflammatory properties.  Many people consume fruits daily or some other day. People have fruits in fasting too. Though people are eating fruits on regular bases still they suffer from lack of nutrition and vitamins. Many of them also suffer from symptoms such as acidity, bloating, constipation and skin infections too. The reason behind this problem is wrong intake of fruit pattern. As some people have fruits in form of custard, salad and milkshake which is wrong according to Ayurveda. In Ayurveda literature it is mentioned that one should not consume fruits and milk together as it may disturb our metabolism. Hence the correct form to take fruits in solo from and mostly consume seasonal fruits. This deep amavasya comes in July month before a day start of shravan mas according to hindu calendar that is july to august.  According to ayurveda from july to september month is said to have varsha rutu.
