2023 is declared as international year of millets by UN . Millets are the same seeds grasses which are good for environment with low water and inputs requirements. hence it is cost effective to farmers. More thn 90 percent of millets production is in Asian countries. India is a country known as country of farmers. Most of the states in India cultivates different varieties of millets. This year is celebrated as Millets year so that people should get aware for production and consumptions of millets. Millets include Ragi, bajra, porso, kodo, jowar, foxtail, browntop, barnyard , little millets. It is also termed as superfood as it act as a preventive measures in following diseases 1.
